Welcome to North Louisiana Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic

Telemedicine is now available at North Louisiana Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic!

Don't worry about sitting in a busy waiting room when you can see one of our doctors from the comfort of your own home. You can call our number at (318) 362-4411 for more information!

Starting in August, our hours of operation at the Monroe location, 1501 Louisville Avenue, Monroe will be 8:00am to 8:00pm from Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday, and 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday.

We remain committed to lessening the burden on area hospital emergency rooms as more patients present with COVID 19 symptoms, and will continue to accept walk-ins, ER transfers, and other provider referrals.

We are equipped to handle urgent and emergent orthopaedic injuries that might otherwise be managed at the emergency room.  Examples of these include falls and motor vehicle collisions without airbag deployment, without head injury, without altered mental status, without loss of consciousness, and without spine injury with neurological symptoms.

In addition to accommodating these urgent care needs, our Monroe Clinic will also remain open to take care of new and existing patients with sports-related or other extremity injuries, joint pain due to arthritis, sprains, strains and any other common orthopaedic-related aches and pains.

During the COVID-19 pandemic period, we will be offering valet check-in with the availability of wheelchairs at the front door for your convenience. To limit exposure, patients are asked to maintain a 6 foot distance from others. To avoid sitting in the waiting room, patients may wait in their vehicles until they are ready to be x-rayed or their exam room is ready. We are also asking patients to make every effort to limit their accompanying visitors to 1 per person.

Established Patients may also call our office ahead of time to check-in. New patients may either complete their new patient forms online, in their vehicles, or inside the office.

For those patients who do not wish to visit in person, their normal office visits can now be substituted with a Telemedicine visit.  Telemedicine can be compared to video conferencing whereby patients and their provider engage in a live “video chat” session via use of a web camera installed on your desktop or laptop computer.  Our telemedicine system, known as Updox®, is HIPAA-Compliant, easy to use, and provides a secure communication link between our patients and providers. If our Updox® system is not compatible, we can accommodate your telemedicine visit with other video chat applications such as Skype, FaceTime, Google Duo, etc.
